According to a lawsuit after Currensy sued Dame & DD172 for $1.5M, Spitta never officially inked a deal with DD172 and actually signed a deal with Warner Bros. DD172 eventually released Muscle Car Chronicles without approval which is what triggered Spitta’s lawsuit, and after reaching a $3M settlement, Currensy regained control of the masters of his albums. After that was settled, the first two Pilot Talk albums were subsequently taken down from all legal download and streaming services.
