This album was written essentially as catharsis for me. I chose not to go to college after high school considering how poor of an experience it had been for me. I wanted to make it a point to take advantage of that time, so I basically started schooling myself with the help of the library, the internet, and the community around me. I can't count how many warnings I've been given about not getting a college degree and it left me with a lot of uncertainty about whether or not what I was doing was the "right" thing to do. I guess I still don't really know. I do know that I would rather say "oh well" than "what if."
