Former Gang Starr Protege, Montreal's Bless returns with his new album entitled 'Spoils of War'. The project features collaborations with New York heavy hitters Vado, Fred the Godson, and Statik Selectah as well as production from Mano Soundmachine. The first single/video 25th hour shot on location in NYC, features Bless and Bronx native Fred The Godson exchanging punch line after punch line and clever wordplay over melodic horns and hard hitting beats. 'Spoils of War' stands out from beginning to end, with street anthems such as "Luxury Rap" & "Huge Star" and more introspective tracks like "Feel this Pain" and "paid the price" not to mention banging production and meticulous delivery throughout.
