Long time specialists in sample based hiphop music they have been producing various artists worldwide for over fifteen years.
Recluse Crew´s first album The Art of Raw Sound (2005) did well especially in internationally and in Japan the album and it´s 12” –single titled ”Perfect Imbalance” both placed number one at japanese music distributor Diskunion´s hiphop chart. The album gained radioplay in more than ten countriesand it was well received by the media. For example the english music magazine ”Notion” ranked The Art of Raw Sound –album as one of the best hiphop albums of 2006.

In 2016 Recluse Crew released a new single called ”Embrace” (featuring Disputeone) via english record label Jon Kennedy Federation. ”Embrace” was released digitally worldwide and it got great reviews.

Now in 2017 they are proud to present their new album: ”More Raw” with Vinyl Digital. ”More Raw” features classic and fresh underground rappers from the U.S. such as Kurious, Mellow Man Ace, Basement Chemists, and Dispute One etc…

The music is indeed Raw and sample based boom bap hiphop with focus on hard drums, samples and scratching. So while bringing the classic boom bap type of hiphop sound, the Crew also bring out their four distinctive flavours of sample based production on this album. You want the Raw? It´s pure and uncut!
