It was given to me by Young Einstein who was already somebody I took notice to at the record swap meets. He seemed to know a lot about obscure drum breaks and would point them out when we found each other side by side digging at record stalls. This demo is a true testament to his genius as a producer and was a huge inspiration to me. In the mid 90s when the magic of sample based production ala De La Soul, Beatnuts, etc was fading into a more synth based replayed era, this tape brought back the magic that I fell in love with. But it doesnt stop there. Andy Cooper and Dizzy Dustin deliver technical story telling rhymes about things both down to earth and cosmic. For years, I wondered how a demo taken so seriously wasnt picked up and released on a major scale.
