Archetype (I.D. and Nezbeat) has returned with their third LP, "Red Wedding". Following their well-received 2007 effort "Bleed For Them" Archetype is back with a sound that stays true to their hip hop origins, yet is as progressive and distinct as ever. MC I.D. and Producer/MC NEZBEAT are now joined by Drummer Jerett Fulton Guitarist Ryan Wurtz, and Bass Guitarist Jake Hiersteiner; together they create an intricate and wellbalanced blend of live instrumentation with classic sample based production. Although the album has dark and sometimes ominous overtones, it still retains that energetic hope that is always present in their music.

Since 2007, both members of Archetype have remained busy. MC I.D. released his own "Avatar Hotel" in 2008 as well as an album with Producer Sleeper, 2008's "With Fixed Hands". Besides the 2010 release of his collaborative album with Joe Good, "Good Hair", Nezbeat has also worked with a plethora of musicians spanning a variety of genres while working on his own soon to be released album. Archetype's music has been featured in numerous online and print publications including XLR8R, Hip Hop Connection Exclaim Magazine, CMJ, as well as featuring tracks from the album on both FUEL TV and the G4 network. Due strongly to a heavy online marketing campaign and increasingly emerging positive word of mouth, there is no reason to believe that Archetype's third album "Red Wedding" is destined to be anything other than one of the best albums of 2012.
